Garbeta Govt. ITI is the NCVT recognized and Directorate of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal affiliated ITI training Institute, situated near Gangani, Garhbeta. At present the Institute offers 2 years ITI Trade courses on Electrician, Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) & 2 year ITI Trade Surveyor and 1 year course on welder. Garbeta Govt. ITI is under the leadership of Dr. Asit Kumar Ghosh (Chairman).
The Institute is engaged in imparting training in the scheme of NCVT, and Tailor made courses as per specific requirement of the local industries. Besides, the Institute is also engaged in imparting training of the Company Apprentices for different organization. The Institute is not only engaged in training activities but also performing successful activities such as Blood donation Camp, Plantation, Entrepreneurship Motivational Campaign, Environmental awareness Program, Campus Interviews for Passed out trainees, Apprenticeship Campaign, various social activities as well as sports and cultural activities..
